Yeah, that whip used to be totally badass, good enough to consider using even with it's negatives...now it's just lame. And you know what they say: "Sticks & Stones may break my bones, but Whips & Chains excite me."
I think there was drop change there. The other whip dropped by Bebilith had another name and it had a lot of elemental damage on it. Since I'm no good with names, I don't remember the other whip's name.. same with its stats.
Yep, that's the one. Like I said, a pretty good weapon if you had tons of AC on your build already and didnt mind losing the other stuff. I dont know of anyone that used it, but it would be nice to have it as an option.
Hmm - Some of the Bosses had to many drops and I spread them out a bit more even to new bosses. Sheelo's Whip drop got put on Bebilith... Did I give Bebilith the wrong whip???
Back to the topic at hand (i.e. the usefulness of this Ritualist Whip). Probably, the best use I can see for it is the fact that it has "haste" on it. By removing haste from your cloak, you could tack on a few extra spell slots or added abilities. Still (and I'm surprised no one's mentioned this up to this point), whip requires "exotic weapon proficiency" which is a feat that most builds don't bother with. So, IMO, this drop isn't worth the extra long run down to Bebilith.

Whips, chains and very very low damage output. This *might* be the lamest of all the boss drops.
It used to have a lot more stuff on it including negatives.
It's best feature was that it sold for a lot of gold.
Even if I was to make a Whip Dis-armer", I would not use this whip.
I need to find out why this Boss Drop is missing all it's other properties.

You should just make it a +10 weapon. Nothing else, just that.
Also, the whip I'm talking about was dropped by Sheelo, not the Bebelith. Maybe that will help people remember :)

When did we get a second Whip drop and why? Making a new type of drop like a Hand Axe would be better.

looks like it. It certainly is a different whip. Different name, abilities, ect...and it sells for a HELL of alot less, which upsets me greatly :P

Ok - I fixed my mistake. The fix will show up in the next update.
Le Whip is the new Boss Item post.
